I just got off the phone with your staff member who, after hearing the summary of facts associated with my/this situation, advised that I email this statement to you. In addition, as I explained to your gentleman, the proof I have that this bill/debt was long-ago paid in full, this same debt that only two months ago was assigned to your company to collect, is an audio-tape of my conversations with both an AT&T Executive & his Assistant Heather. Both of these individuals work out of what ATT culture calls thier SouthWest Missouri Facility.

Briefly to describe this entire, three-year-long ordeal, in 2011 I signed up for ATT's newest product....UVERSE! It was a combo of internet(new WiFi), Landline Phone & cable TV(a new market for ATT I Believe). My cell phone was already with them and had been for ten-plus-years. I loved AT&T and they loved me I suppose. I was sending them about $1000.00 every month; cell phone was expensive back then & I was on it constantly, Worldwide!

All was wonderful until the Internet didn't work consistently at my new location. I'm in the internet-Retail business (autographed & rare books) so not having reliable internet was a NON-OPTION! Plus, the UVERSE package depended on that internet connection for their cable-TV services such as their Movie library via Blockbuster; Millions of Movies FREE (included in my package-price at least) 24--7! That NEVER worked. AT&T repair people came to my facility numerous times. I even paid one of them cash from my pocket to work on a Saturday, hoping to finally get it to work right. It never find.

Soon I had to switch because the service, new in my area and too distant from AT&T's "relay-station" for good, reliable service. I signed-up with Charter and called AT&T to cancel my service. Which they did but a month later, turned the service back on and began billing me again; for service that NOBODY WAS EVEN USING, nor could they even have internet, the movies, the accounting, messaging & more...EVEN IF SOMEONE HAD KNOWN ABOUT AND WANTED TO USE THE AT&T SERVICE being "sent" to my address "on paper only." That paper-ficticiuos-invoice is what they have been hounding me for years about.

In December I wanted thei "Free IPad" promotion but was denied due to this outstanding debt. That's when I blew my lid and an Executive called me. I was convinced to pay 50% of the bill as a "Paid in Full" remedy with them, I signed back up for UVERSE after being promised they had built closer ".relays" and my service would be excellent. Plus, I got a FREE television (not yet received), and $400 on a Visa card via their current promotion. Only the television was special, just for me, by the way. And, now I've been told that I can't get the television......there mistake! My internet is working; not quiet as good as Charter but almost and good enough.

Now comes this collections issue and I'm buying a house and this remains on my credit and has been for three years. Worse, AT&T sent this ".fake paper-.debt" to your company LONG AFTER I had paid it off! Plus, this past month they have been taking erosions deductions from my checking account (when I called and asked/advised their Accounting
Department of three debits to my account in the same month, I was told that I "was mistaken, AT.&T had only taken one payment that month. So, I told my bank and the bank fixed that.

But, I'm disabled, confined to bed most of the time and ATT DOES THIS TO ME, I've been approved for. $77k but not enough due to ATT, I was denied sufficient credit to buy my dream-house (lost equity/ value $70k & $120k) AFTER BEING TOLD BY EXEC, ALL WOULD BE FIXED ON MY CREDIT REPORTS, ATT PROMOTIONS, ETC. IF I PAY 50%, that I didn't owe! That's not true, plus now they won't return my call...3year Nightmare!
