I used my credit card to make a call from an airport pay phone that ended up lasting less than a minute before it was cut off. The charge showed up as $15.69 on my bill. Thank goodness I couldn't get it to work again when I tried to reconnect using the same credit card. Pay phones are hard enough to find these days since most people have cell phones, but then to have this kind of outrageous charge for a call makes it more than just an inconvenience, it's downright larceny.
