I ordered a credit report for my son on my credit card. I went to the above site which states they will charge you $1 for one report. I filled in the information, while doing so, one of the option came up, if you want other reports from other sources you can pay $29.95, said click here or there was a button that said NO THANKS. I clicked the button that said NO THANKS and it took me into the regular report, which was Experian, which is what i got. I called the next day and cancelled the membership, because there was a clause if you didnt cancel within a period you will be continually charged. I checked my credit card to see what i was charged, there were two transactions, one was for $1 and the other for $29.95. I called the company and they are claiming that i selected the $29.95, and out of "courtsey" they will refund me $15.00. Therefore i actually paid $15.95 for one credit report instead of $1 which is what is advertised on their page. I told the rep, they are misrepresnting the facts, and charging people for what they didnt get and what they didnt order. Its not the amt of money, but the principal involved here. I specificially said NO THANKS, BUT THEY STILL WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED ME $29.95 ANYWAY. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPRMANDED AND CLOSED DOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
