I was starting my own practise as a Injury Law Lawyer,and I needed a good "416 Number" that I found on kijiji. The man sounded pretty professional,and did not have a website,but said he had to leave Canada, to work in the U.S. I figured sure,dood chance to get a number that was 416-999-3-999 and then we met,and negotiated from 3,000 to 2,000 I gave him cash he handed me the Sim card with all the account details at starbucks. He popped the sim card out and put it in his phone and called me to prove its good. I gave him 2,ooo Cash and went to bell, they could NOT ported! I was shocked,they said number belongs to another client, I gave the sim card and it worked,then he tried to call it and we got someone else!?? What the hell? I called him up and got nothing! His number was disconected,un real, I found out later,these people use disposable phones to do their scams
Shame on me! I knew I got taken!
Forget it next time,I should have know better,as a Lawyer,I should have taken him to a carrier. Next time I googled it and got a website "416numbers . c0m" Got myself a great number for one third of the price. There was also Bell. c0m did not find much. For nyself im done with kijiji and all this scamy classified ads!
