We have been dealing with Alice Shang from a company called Shenzhen Topworld Technology co ltd.

On Wednesday 07/05/14 we ordered $500 USD ($602.98 NZD) worth of goods from Alice Shang which were to be sent to us here in New Zealand. These goods where a anniversary special promotion offer advertised by this company, buy 1 and get 3 more free.

We ordered:
3 x Samsung s5 phones (which would total 12 with the promotion).
3 x Sony Playstation 4 game consoles (which would total 12 with the promotion).
3 x Nintendo wii U game consoles (which would total 12 with the promotion).
This is all shown on invoice we received from Alice Shang.
Alice told us it was free shipping, this is also stated on the invoice sent to us from her. I can email you this if you require.

We paid $500 USD ($602.98 NZD) on Friday 09/05/14 using Western Union. I emailed her the MTCN number that she requested and the receipt.
We where then told on Monday 12/05/14 that our 5 packages had been detained at customs in China and we would have to pay a "brand tax" of $450 USD ($545.59 NZD) then the items would be released and sent straight to us, which we again had paid this extra cost through Western Union on Tuesday 13/05/14. I sent the MTCN number and receipt for that transaction to Alice.
We emailed customs info china on Monday 12/05/14 about this so called "brand tax" but we didn't get a reply back until 13/05/14 their email stated "this is not true" (we have this email if you would like us to forward it to you) but unfortunately by then we had already paid as we where told the items will be seized by customs and we would not receive our items if this is not paid with in 72 hrs.

On Tuesday 13/05/14 we got another email after just paying the "brand tax" saying we had to now pay a "dangerous goods fine" because the packages contained mobile phones which contained Lithium batteries. We got another email from Alice to say she promised there would be no extra charges and we will have our items by Friday 16/05/14 or Saturday 17/05/14 if this is paid. So on Wednesday 14/05/14 we then again had to pay another $450 USD ($544.73 NZD) through western union. As again we where told customs China would seize the items. I sent the MTCN number and receipt for that transaction to Alice as well.

Later this same day Wednesday 14/05/14 not long after we just sent her transaction confirmation we received another email from Alice to say we have to now pay "Insurance" of $800, $1500, or $2000 but the choice is ours which amount and it is compulsory must be paid. She didn't disclose any of these extra costs at any time previously, we have asked for a full refund as the extra hidden costs were undisclosed to us and that we want to see proof that Customs China are asking us to pay the brand tax, dangerous goods fine and Insurance that we are ordered to pay or lose our items. We where told China customs will confiscate it all if we don't pay in 2 days. She has not provided any proof of the extra costs we paid and that we have asked her for, Only telling us that her agent has only just told her of these extra charges. She should have known about all extra charges as this is her job to know or to find out previously of any extra costs before selling/exporting goods overseas.

The purchase invoice and agreement was only for $500 USD ($602.98 NZD) then went up to $1400 USD ($1693.30 NZD) she said we would lose everything if we did not pay. Then after previously telling us in a email that there will be no further costs and this was promised to us, she then asked for up to another $2000 USD "Insurance". This is way over and above the original agreement of $500 USD as stated on the invoice to the level of now being ridiculous.

Alice wants us to now pay up to $3400 USD almost 7 times the original cost. This is wrong, and very bad business. Companies who make the mistakes that Alice and/or this company has made would reimburse the customer in full out of their own pocket or make sure the customer gets what they ordered as this has fully been Alice Shang and the companies fault not ours. Why should we lose almost $1700 to a registered business who has made all these errors and we receive nothing , A business has insurance cover for the public if company is a fault or in this case misleading customers which is illegal. We ask you to please investigate Alice Shang and the company she works for or owns, As this is Fraudulent business with Fraudulent intentions, Taking extra money from people by not disclosing all costs to customer. Businesses MUST LEGALLY disclose all costs in writing to the purchaser if overseas or requested by the customer (which we asked for) before payment or transfer has been made for any goods or items they sell.

We previously requested from Alice a full refund of all monies that we have paid to her $1400 USD ($1693.30 NZD) if there are any other problems or more costs to us, she emailed us OK. (we have this email if you require it)

My husband called Alice Shang tonight and she then told us we wouldn't get any refund at all, she cant do anything to help us and that we wouldn't receive the goods we have already paid for unless we pay the chemical insurance that we where never told about with in two days, And then she hung up on him! we where told their would be no hidden or extra costs at the start of this purchase.

We are a struggling family with 3 kids and have used all of our savings plus borrowed money to pay these extra costs.
We have all emails sent between Alice Shang and us and be more than happy to forward them all to you as you will find them interesting and support situation that we are in and that we are victims of fraud. We have attached the invoice that we received from Alice Shang and 3 Western Union deposit receipts (all sent using my husbands name as I have no passport which is needed for Identification) these where paid directly to Alice Shang, or LUO DA SHI
