Evolution Bankcard will charm you with their sales reps and very attractive sounding interest fees. They even send you a terminal and/or card swipe device for your phone for free rather quickly. First though they will drain you for information, even down to getting a birth certificate from you to verify your identity supposedly. Then once you do this they even want more information. Anyway, I decided to cancel because it was not worth the hassle. I had already received the card swipe but never used it. On 4-2-14 I was charged $19.95 for a processing fee. After making 3 calls and waiting over 30 minutes each time I was met with rude reps. I followed directions and mailed back the card swipe, on my dime, and was told once they received it my account would be deactivated. I called today, 4-29-14, to verify account was closed and I would not be billed any further. I was told tomorrow would be the end of the cycle for April and my account would be closed but they were going to automatically draft my banking account for a processing fee. That isn't going to happen. I will change my bank information tomorrow. Total scam and ripoff. Do not do business with this company. They claim to represent well known businesses and will try to charm you with fun conversation but beware. The small print is never seen and once they bite into you you are soon to be on a journey you don't care to mess with. And it can be very costly.
