I too received a letter and a check from this individual stating that it was to have me as a Walmart secret shopper - the check was in the amount of $2930.00
My husband who works in a financial company said that this was funky and low and behold I contacted the Urban Trust Bank on which the check was drawn and they advised that this was a fraudulent check and that this individual is being investigated.
Remember if it looks and sounds too good to be true it probably is - so do your homework.
