I was checking out this Penny Bid site and ending up with a $99 charge to my credit card. I called them immediately and they said they couldn't reverse the charges and offered to charge me only $75. When I asked to talked to a supervisor, they lower it to $50. When I refused again and told them of course them could reverse the charges, they still claimed them could not. I told them my credit card company could stop the charges and then the supervisor got on the phone and offered me $25. What a hassle! I figured what the heck. I checked the auctions and all they ever have are gift cards, Kindles, and a Grill. Oh and of course, you can always buy more bids. I have watched for 2 months waiting for something to bid on and it's just more of the same. I'm not even going to try to bid after reading about others winning and not receiving their items. So I'm going back to my credit card company and asking them to reverse the charges like I should have in the first place.
