AJRIchie com is the wholesale internet shop for digital cameras,camcorders, audio & video, tv & projectors, home & garden, accessories e.t.c.

I was looking specifically for Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera for me daughter's birthday on 25.01.2014, it was a special request since she's studied at Prague Film school and from all Canon cameras this particular model is very good at film shooting as well, which is a well known fact among filmmakers society.

When I was searching initially through ebay I found that none of the ebay retailers are shipping to our address in Azerbaijan, so I've noticed an advert below the ebay search list which has Canon 5D Mark III on sale, it was Ajrichie.com, initially it was $2400.00 (last summer if I'm not mistaken), later on December 2013 they had the same camera Body only for $1999.00. I've looked at the site, noted that they established in 1998 (15 Years of experience), then they accepting credit cards, can ship internationally, no paypal (which was a holding factor for me, since I've never had any probs with this payment system, through my 11 years of ebay & internet shopping experience), have seen reviews left on the site, so relaxed a bit and decided to give it a try.

On 13.01.2014 I've placed an order with them for Canon 5D Mark III Body Only, same night received an order confirmation. And was surprised that they did not charge my credit card straight away (or blocked an amount on the card) instead they've sent an e-mail asking me to call to verify my order for my own security. In couple of days spoken to them, was advised that this is the Japanese version without English interface, without battery and charger, apparently they had mentioned it in two words on their site IMPROTED MODEL. So they suggested newer model 6D which has replaced 5D, but I've told them that we need 5D specifically, since I did not have more cash in hand and on the card I've cancelled that order at the time.

Then 2-3 days later, decided to get loan from the Bank and by an USA model with kit & 1 Year Warranty, so I've placed a new order and received a web order confirmation #2406618 ON 16.01.2014 including:

When I called again on 17.01.2014 to verify my order, someone from sales called Logan, said that they can not accept credit cards from overseas, I said what is the the problem, since You offering international shipping, he could not give me any explanation just said they can take US credit cards and suggested that I do Bank wire transfer, I told him it would cost me 30 Euro for this transaction so he offered $70.00 instant discount because of this, so I told him to send me an invoice using my local billing address, so I've send them on 20.01.2014 my billing address and phone number and received Bank Wire Transfer details as follows:

On 21.01.2014 I've showed the above Bank Wire Transfer details to people in Bank and they found that there is enough information to do the wire transfer but asked to have an official invoice with Stamp & Signature from the organization, so I called AJRICHIE.COM again and told them the Bank requirement, guy on the phone told me that he could not do the stamped and signed invoice but can send me electronic invoice from their site, so they did send an invoice as follows:

I've noted in the text that they put Canon 5D Mark II (instead of Mark III) and when called next time asked why did You put the wrong camera he said, that instead of showing discount in invoice he choose different kit from menu and they will send me 5D Mark III as per my order.


I've went back to the AGBank again with this invoice and they said they will consult with the auditors since invoice does not have stamp & signature, on the 23.01.2014 Bank confirmed that they can proceed with this Bank Wire Transfer since they know me for long time.

On 24.01.2014 I finally received 2000 AZN (approx. $2500.00) loan from Nikoyl Bank, so was able to go ahead with the Bank Wire transfer, the same day money was transferred to and received on AJRICHIE.com account.

The same night 24.01.2014 received confirmation from AJRICHIE.com as follows:

Spoken to AJRICHIE.com asking if they can ship me order the same afternoon on Friday 24.01.2014, they said they doubt it since it's only 2-3 working hours left till the end of the day, but they try, latest on Monday 27.01.2014 they will ship it to my freight forwarder in USA, USA2Everywhere.com, so they ship it on 27.01.2014 (details of fedex tracking & USA2Everywhere shipping to me are also in attached dicx file).

Then finally on 04.02.2014 I've collected my parcel from USA2Baku office in Baku and found that I got the incorrect item and incorrect order (invoice came with the parcel in the attached docx file), my communication with them as follows:
