WinZip Registry Optimizer

We write this for one of our customers who on Feb. 25th had clicked a popup window with an advertisement for WinZip Registry Optimizer, which promised to clean his computer and make it work faster. The program said it had found 96 problems, and if he wanted the problems fixed he should pay for a licensed version of the program. He was naive enough to do so. He found on March 4th in his inbox three e-mails (there had been e-mail problems which we fixed that date) with three different invoices for the program, which he had never activated. There was also a message telling him that he had 30 days to regret his purchase and get his money back. We immediately helped him fill in a form telling what had happened, that the program was now entirely uninstalled and that he wanted his money back. He has heard nothing since then, and he is afraid he has been cheated!
