This is the exact ad copied and pasted from craigslist. I texted this lady at the phone number given on Monday, Feb 24, 2014 @ 8:33pm EST. I still all the texts back and forth between us and the emails. She (joeleb rina) texted me back on Feb 27 @ 8:04am EST. In the text, the woman had very poor English grammar. She went on to say she was giving away this male Bengal kitty because she was relocating to Florida and then goes on to say how she's already in Florida and wanting a good home for him. She says she's a 27 year old woman and doesn't want to give the cat away to anyone that will sell him. After almost every sentence she follows with "ok," which is very strange to me. When I told her I was interested, she asked if she could send him today (still Feb 27th). I said, sure and then she responds with, "right now I need your full delivery address and that will cost 195$ for home delivery." Then when I tell her I am at work, she says "am driving there already." Then she slips up and says, "the puppy will be delivered directly to your house ok." Puppy? I'm not getting puppy. Then of course asks if I'm paying cash or card. I insisted for a good time that if it's a true agency, I should be able to pay on their website, but then she just insists that it's through uship.com and that's all I can get out of her. Then I insist that I only want to pay through paypal but then she INSISTS that it needs to be wired to this Shenika Mann and gives me all the info

Then the woman keeps insisting and insisting AND insisting. I really got irritated because while I'm at work (working in a pharmacy and very busy because it is soon to snow here) she's texting me like every 30 seconds and saying things like, "hello" and "are you there" back to back. When I got home that night I had pretty much decided I was done with this woman. I told her she hadn't even sent me pictures of the kitten I was "SUPPOSED" to be receiving. She did shortly there after and he was absolutely beautiful. I fell for him immediately. I admit, I'm a sucker for cute animals. Anyway, so I decided I was going to try to give her the benefit of the doubt, against my better judgement. I money-grammed the $200 the next morning (she said I needed to pay the extra $5 for food for the kitten because he had to stay at the agency overnight) plus the $11.34 fee for the money gram. After that she asked for the reference # or MTCN. I hesitated because it just didn't feel right. After about 30 minutes, I finally broke down and sent it to her. That was all she wrote. She quit texting almost immediately. BUSTED! Always go with your gut. When I got the email from the "agency" requesting money for a crate!

You have got to be kidding me! No way! So that's when I start researching the internet for this "cargopetway," which I should've done to begin with. I found a complaint on pissedconsumer.com from someone who had my exact story! He'd even paid the $500. They even had the same names! I'm done. No way was I paying another dime. Now I'm out $211 for a kitten I'd really like to have. I have 5 children and they were all expecting to have a kitty delivered that evening and my little 6 year old boy was distraught when I told him we weren't getting it.

Like I said, I kept EVERYTHING. All the texts, emails, and receipts. Please please help. These people must be stopped. ...or at least face consequences. They should hurt the way they've hurt other people. The damage they cause is more than just financial; it's psychological as well.
