On February 21st, I received my 1st assignment along with a money order for $970.00 with instructions to cash it & go to Walmart, keep $150.00 as "profit", spend $50 & send a new money order to Timothy Holt, Chicago, Illiois 60655. On February 24th, I received a 2nd assignment along with 5 money orders totaling $4,850. I was to cash them - kept $550.00 & send $2100 via Western Union Allov Griffin 715 N Ridge, Chicago, Illiois 60626.
I became very suspicious when three Fedex/UPS overnight letters arrived on 2/24 to my doorstep with the same 'sender' on the money order but coming from 3 different names/senders on the UPS/Fedex envelopes. I was also instructed to send it asap.
I started looking around and found that this is a scam. Sadly, I am out the $ when I have a small baby at home and couldn't afford to be scammed like this.
I'm hoping that others will take warning and if there was any way to get a refund, I will gladly help prosecute.
