I purchased a car in 2010 and I sent the car back to the finance company because the car was sold with exsisting problems.. there are numerous concerns about this deal. I asked the have asked the dealership to return my deposit because the car had problems that where expenive to repair. Plus they Fraudulently altered my credit application.
1. It's not my handwriting
2. I don't work for that company
plus, they used it as a primary job
3. It goes on my credit
4. My signature is not on there
Because of these in fractions do I have case for Credit
fraud??
Plus my down payment has not been refunded..

  • Perman 67 I am sorry to hear this. I recently got messed over by them but I am working to get the issue resolved in my favor. I also submitted a report to the BBC. Please make sure you do this as well. It may save another person from them.

  • Here is my story that I posted to the BBC site about them:
    Consumer's Original Complaint :
    Shady Contract
    ON 09 NOV 2011 MARIETTA AUTO MART submitted a simple intrest installment contract to United Auto in order that I can secure a loan for a 2002 Mercedes Benz CLK 430 with 83,170 miles on it. Around 19 Nov 2011, I received a call from one of the sales rep telling me my loan was not approved through United because they did not approve of the fact that I was returning to Iraq. I was told by the salesman that they would try to process my loan through another company. I was informed they would get the loan approved through Wade Ford. When I arrived to Wade Ford they showed me a new contact where Marietta Auto Mart had made the finance total go from total amount financed from $12,295.04 to around $16,000! The finance rate was lower and the monthly payments were lowered but the price was raised too high for me. I did not want to be stuck upside down in a car. So on 21 November 2011 I returned to Marietta Auto Mart and informed them I did not want to go through with the deal because the contract was changed and the new price was ridiculous and I was not obligated purchasing the car anymore because the 1st loan did not go through and the because the car was not "financed" as of that day I did not want to deal with them or their car OR their high price. I was approved for the second loan but I did not go through with processing the paperwork so basically their is NO DEAL.

    I informed Wade Ford I did not want to complete the paperwork because the numbers were different and they informed me that they would inform Marietta Auto Mart they could not process the paperwork because I expressed I did not want the loan. Upon returning to Marietta Auto Mart and telling them this David told me he could not give me my trade in car back (1999 BMW 323i) and they stated the owner Tony was in TN and would not return until the following week (Monday) so they could not help me. He told me the car was mine. I told him NO because it has not been financed! He stated he could not return my car to me until he talked to his corporate and he could not do this until the following Monday! I called the police and the policeman stated he could not do anything because I signed the title over to them and I would need to take it to civil court! WOW! The owner told the policeman that they would give me $1,000 check to make the deal right. Common sense tells me if they offered me that lump sum they KNEW they were giving me a crooked deal and assumed that offering me money would make me jump at the deal. At this point even if they could make the deal right and make the contract back to the "original" amount I do not want to do business with them because David is a liar and has NO customer service skills. He was very rude with my boyfriend and I. I have been working in Iraq for 7 years and I paid CASH for my trade in and for them NOT to want to give my car back and become rude with us is not good business. I can understand if he had to talk to his boss but there is a way to handled it. I guess he was not in his right mind because he smelled of HEAVY alcohol. I even told them that I would pay for the mileage I put on the new car (2002 Mercedes CLK 430). I will wait until next Monday to see what the owner Tony has to say when he returns. But I will seek legal advice. I am a person who believes in doing right so I know good will only come from this. Auto Mart if you are reading this, how can you honestly live with yourself knowing your business practices are not honest. Google Auto Mart Marietta complaints and you will see ALOT of complaints. I feel sorry for these people because most of them probably did not push it, but things are about to change because I am a strong believer that things will never be correct if a person keeps their mouth closed. In conclusion their is so much more to this story.

    Consumer's Desired Resolution:
    I want my trade in vehicle back. I worked too hard and paid cash for that car for you to give me this much trouble and to LIE to me and the police.

  • Thanks Tiffany.. I hope you have better luck with Toni.. cause they are crooks in polyester shirts. I have file for suit in court plus I will be reporting it to the BBB. But if you "do dirt -you get dirt". I just pray that my case will get heard .. I even been to the News Station about them.. they are looking to call me back soon. I know that there is more people out there that has go sucked in by those cheap suit wearing thugs! thanks for the suggestion.. I still have a couple of things I am working on..
