I was scammed by these people big time! My computer gave me an error message saying I had been hacked, & was linked many times to this company. He said that my entire system had been corrupted & since it wasn't working I believed him...everyone I speak to sounds like they're from Nigeria, which is a likely place for a scammer to come from. He got into my computer & basically accomplished nothing. After several hours on the phone I finally had to sleep so he said my computer would be fixed in the morning. I really did think he was legit & he clearly was in my computer, so he talked me into a yearly service contract with 24/7 help for $249.99. The next day I awoke to still a computer not working, so I called their so-called 24/7 phone support line & nobody answered! Duh, I had been scammed. Fortunately I contacted my bank, Chase, & stopped payment via filing a fraud report. They were great, credited my account back temporarily while they did a thorough investigation. The verdict came back that indeed I had been scammed, & I kept all my money . As a result of this I had to change all my bank cards & codes & went to Norton to fix & protect my computer from them. Much time & effort was required, but I'm safe from them.

In the past few months I have been getting calls from these people. I usually hang right up, but today I listened while baiting the guy he called himself Justin...sure, Justin from Nigeria that has such a thick accent I could only understand a little if what he was saying. Anyway, he said that someone had hacked my email account & was asking people for money using my account & name. Well, that's simply not happening! My anger got the better of me & I told him he was a scammer & better not EVER call me back again. I then told him that I would be filing complaints with many agencies regarding their scam. So that's what I'm doing, beginning with this site. My next stop will be The Attorney Generals Office, then copy it to several consumer advocate groups.

People please beware! These are scammers, pure & simple. Don't get caught like I did. I was just fortunate enough to identify the problem immediately & put safeguards up.
