after responding by e-mail to an ad in the Lansing, MI section of the craigs list for a 2004 Roadtrek Van Camper for $18000, I was told by the seller Ronald Baugman about going thru Online Outpost Trader.com (OOT) with who has had several sales and their expertise in handling and shipping cara and RVs. I tested the web site and found that many folks had praised the site and the service they provided. I went ahead and registered at this site that operated in the US, Canada and the UK. The sellar told me that he had already provided the camper to OOT and had signed the clear title for the new owneer who would buy the canmper. On 10/10/11 I received an invoice from OOT for $5000.00 and an e-mail requesting that I pay the amount by wire transfer to the Barkeley Bank in Sussex, UK. Without suspecting I complied with their request on 10/10/11. I sent out several e-mails to Ronald Baugman (the seller) and got quick responses with the Vin # of the vehicle, condition and title and other papers. He also confirmed that the vehicle was ready to be shipped. OOT sent me similar messages and requested that I wire transfer the balance amount of $13,000.00 so that they can ship. Still not suspecting any play, I went ahead and wire transferred to the same bank the amount of $13,000.00 on 10/20/11. OOT acknowledged receipt of the payment of $18,000.00 and provided a shipping scheduled date of 10/25/11. Everything changed after that day. My repeated requests to provide shipping details and papers went unanswered and the website sees to be inaccessible. I wrote e-mails to the seller and received no response. I filed complaints to FBI and the Police requesting immediate action.
