While at a conference in Las Vegas in early December, my husband and I were tricked into attending a presentation. This presentation promised amazing hotel deals/getaways for $29 per night. They told us that we could sell 2 of our 4 weeks per year for $1500 and that someone would be contacting us to do that. The price was originally about $17,000, but after we showed no interest amazingly they had a 4 week plan that someone had paid partially that the owner upgraded so we could purchase it for only around $5000. We thought we asked every question in the book and were made all sorts of empty promises. 2 weeks after we returned home we received the email with our user name/password to this sight. I was shocked to see the prices were just like any other if I went onto hotels.com or others. I called the company and left a message and had someone call me back. She suggested that I call the booking line for the exact cost as she never uses the online tool. When I called the booking agent she told me she answers for about 5 companies and that the price on the website was in fact the price we would pay. When I told her what they told us she simply said "I'm sorry". I have tried repeatedly to reach them again by phone and email and have had no call back. This is a total scam. They immediately sold our loan to Monterey Financial out of California. NOw I'm stuck paying them 130.00 per month for the next 3 years. Do NOT fall for this scam. RUN....the free stuff they give you is not worth this hassle.
