On June 1st 2011 JRT Recodings contacted us about a health fair and car show that would be held at Valencia Community College on June 5, 2011. We paid for the premium package (175.00) which would include video, time on stage to tell about our company,advertisment on radio and tv and also in the flyer brochure info to be handed out to everyone. The show did not happen at the college but we did get a phone call (at 5:30 am) on June 5, when i turned on my phone around 8:30 that morning telling me it was in a different location. Since I had a phone call on Friday night (3rd) telling me it was cancelled I had already made different arrangements for the day. We have tried several different options to get our money back with no luck. The check we gave them was cashed the next morning and we could not stop payment and Jose Torres that owns the company (that is who the check was made out to) told us he never saw the check but he would call as to where and when we could get paid. It is now July 6 and we still have not heard from them. Our question also is how many more people paid them for what was on the contract and they did not follow thru with the contract??
