I was in contact with a Mr Alan Tan via email. He presented Shanghai Real Carts Trade Co. Ltd as a company with 8 years of wholesale experience and was able to show references (which I now believe to be faked) showing previous orders and references. He even showed a business license (in Chinese) that was supposed to show that the company was licensed.
After a detailed breakdown of what I wished to order (which was a few iphones and macbooks of an ordering total of 520 USD) we agreed on a payment method (this was the 14th of January, before the first complaint was made against this company).
I set out to pay Mr Tan via a direct wire transfer. The wire transfer initially bounced and had be reperformed by the bank. The money had to be wired to a certain mister or misses Kerui Lin.
Once the money was transferred (around the 20th of January), mr Tan got back in touch with me claiming that the company rule is that the order minimum was 1000 USD and that I will have to order more products.
I refused to order more, after which mr Tan has not responded on any emails.
Until this has been resolved, stay away from this company!
