The letter, which looks very official, states that "The State of Utah and the Federal government require all Utah employers to post a number of required notices on their business premises to inform their employees of their legal rights." I was immediately suspicious of this letter because the LLC I hold shares in is not an employer. We have no employees. The letter also states "...This is not a bill. This is a solicitation. You are under no obligation to pay the amount stated above unless you accept this offer...". The offer is for a compliance poster and a certificate of compliance. I will not be accepting this offer!
