My Son and his wife are divorcing and his wife, Kristi M. Mankie,
found a house to rent, but she needed $700.00 for the deposit.
I wrote the check, the landlord took it and gave her, Kristi, a reciept.
Kristi changed her mind because the place was filthy. Kristi decided
to rent another place.
The landlord refuses to give us the check back, she has blocked our
phone numbers, we have not harassd (sp) I spoke to her once and left a couple of messages. My sons father called and texted a few times. We've given her alot of chances. No contract was
signed just the reciept and the money were exchanged at
