I have been coresponding with YourBids Company ( apparently based in Scotland ) and have applied for home based employment part-time. I have not given them any credit card info but have signed two contracts in agreeance to a trial employment time frame with them (1 month). I ask any of you to please respond to me if you are aware of any scam/issues with this company before i get burnt? Please advise any info is helpful. Thanks Paty

  • I have also gotten this email. I did send my resume, I am not sure that I should have even emailed back. I think this may be a scam... I will keep searching for information.

  • This is a DANGEROUS SCAM! These people sell expensive items online such as Rolex watches and even cars and boats at extremely discounted prices. The buyer pays by PayPal or other online method and they get either nothing or a cheap knock-off. Your job is to withdraw the funds from PayPal or Google shopping cart as quickly as possible in order to prevent the buyer from recovering the funds through a chargeback. You then take the funds and wire them to the overseas scammers and hold out your percentage. After a month or so, you will get a visit from the authorities and you will be charged with wire fraud. The people you sent the money to are outside U.S. jurisdiction and are hard to trace. Since you handled the transactions, you will become legally liable to the people they scammed. It is a VERY DANGEROUS SCAM and you risk both financial ruin and criminal prosecution by dealing with these people. Think about it. In this economy who is going to send out emails to strangers guaranteeing you 40K per year? Read the "agreements" and you will see that they are very vague and are written to sound impressive but no names or phone numbers are provided to investigate the company. Again, this is a DANGEROUS SCAM! AVOID THESE CROOKS!

  • I have just got the same email, today 3rd Nov and wanted to check the company. Your posts came first when I googled the company and I am just glad I have done nothing so far. Thanks for that!

What if you post the names of the persons emailing us? Or email addresses they use? That should make other people aware....mine came from Italy, or an email registered .it
