Our son had the same experience... Guy in a van pulled up to him in a gas station and sold him a box of junk for $150. Well, we assume it is junk because there are no instructions, nor are there any wires for connecting any of the components. Poor kid thought he would buy us a gift. :-(
It was a good lesson for him though. We expressed our gratitude and then explained why you NEVER buy anything off "a guy in a van".
I would encourage everyone who has been scammed by this company to report them on FTC.gov. Enough complaints and they'll be investigated. Hopefully someone will go to prison.
