1. In July 2010 my Global Chairman - Dr.Diwan Rahul Nanda was in the U.S. and visited this store and met Abraham Weiss. He selected various decorative items and furniture for purchase totalling USD $65,000, against which a holding deposit of USD $6,500 was paid to Mr. Abraham Weiss.

2. After he returned to London, He considered that the total order was too expensive and requested to cancel the order. Mr. Abraham Weiss advised that there would be a 15% cancellation fee, and after negotiation he agreed that the order can be cancelled at no cost provided that the deposit already paid will be used to fund another purchase from his store.

3. Over the course of the next 6 months, I being the country manager for Dr.Nanda, persistently requested a break-down of the items originally ordered with their corresponding prices, which Abraham failed to provide. We needed this information to proceed with selecting a suitable purchase. On 26 May 2012, we indicated to Mr. Abraham Weiss that we wished to purchase the ‘Presidential Desk’ which was already reserved for me. Abraham entered into protracted negotiations, and when we made a final attempt to purchase the ‘Presidential Desk’, on 13 July 2012, Abraham advised me that the desk has been sold.

4. On 10 August 2012 during a telephone conversation with Abraham, he once again confirmed that the deposit may be used for the purchase of other items in your store. From that date, we made continuous effort to correspond with the store in order to select certain items that fell within the price range of the deposit. However Abraham remained elusive and unhelpful.

The last email received from Mr.Abraham was on 16 January 2013 in which he refused to entertain any of our requests. Since that email, we have attempted to contact the store on several occasions with no reply from him in order to make use of the deposit.

Besides failing to keep up with their contractual obligation, they are also not refunding the money purely because we are based in the UK and they are in the US. we seek your help to bring out the truth of such miscreants to ensure that others genuine customers also do not get cheated like us.
