Like many others, I was registering to see what the site was all about, and wound up being charged $99.00, appearantly for registering only. I had no notice that there was a charge, and if the info was anywhere it was perhaps buried in their massive terms and conditions tab. Appearantly it was in there somewhere that if you click okay on the tab, you are agreeing to buy bids for $99.00. I have since tried to use my bids, but so far the only thing plausable to win the bidding on are more bid packages. The site seems to be connected to HotCloseOuts2013.com where the auctions take place.
In my view,it is just shy of fraud, but still a shady way of bilking unsuspecting people out of their hard saved Christmas money.
Also, when I initially tried to contact them about the mistake, they were impossible to reach through the email address listed or any other way. I protested the charge through my bank and they found that they could do nothing because I had clicked on the terms and conditions, even though I had no idea I would be charged such an exorbitant amount for nothing but useless bids. Thank you
