I hired this company to move my personal belongings to Spain. What they failed to tell me was that this company does not carry out the removals, but sub-contracts to another company.

When my goods arrived, they had to be off-loaded into a smaller vehicle that I hired because there was restricted access to my house for a large removal lorry. While transferring my belongings, it was noted that two items of furniture were seriously damaged and that two boxes were missing. Later on unpacking boxes, I found several other items broken.

I asked for €100 in compensation for the damages, and insisted that the missing boxes be traced and delivered to me. The company offered me €50, but only if I waived their responsibility for the missing boxes. This I refused to de, so the company has declined to compensate at all.

I am unable to provide a correct date as this occurred in September and your calendar only offers dates in December.
