I saw an advertisement on Facebook for a free sample of skin care that required me to provide credit card information for what I believed would be a charge of around $5.90 US funds (PS I do not understand this because I am in Canada and allegedly Alore Skin Care in Montreal Quebec Canada. I received what I thought was a sample. Today I received my credit card bill and there was a charge of $94.28 US Funds ($102.74 Canadian. First I called my credit card company which checked it and advised me that they receive about 15 complaints per month about this company and that there is nothing they can do to reverse the charge since I apparently authorized it. I will say that at no time was I aware or made aware that my card would be charged a monthly recurring charge. I then went through a process of cancelling the recurring charge. Not stopping there, I called customer service and was advised that yesterday another order was shipped and my card would be charged again. After lengthy argument the representative said he would credit back $75.42. This was acceptable as I am having another charge of $18.86 on my credit card for nothing. I want my money back and any help would be appreciated. The total I have been charged is $113.14. I am a senior citizen living on a pension and I cannot afford these charges.
