I posted an ad on Craigslist that I wanted a puppy. Someone responded and the deal sounded fishy. I googled some of the information he told me and found him on scambook.com for pulling the exact same scam that he is trying to pull on me. He says his name is Daniel grace. He responded to an ad I put on Craigslist that I wanted a free puppy. He said he had a free Pomeranian puppy to give to a good home, and laid it on real thick. After corresponding a couple of times through email, he said he lives in Richmond Virginia, which is 3 states away from me. But that's no problem he says, he knows a great shipping company who will do it for $90. That's when the red flag went up for me. I told him sure, just tell me the shipping companies name and where they are located so I can confirm this is legit before we go any further. The company was Auto Shipping and Logistics in Richmond Virginia, he also told me they do not have a website right now because it is under construction, but they have a phone number. When I google searched the company I found it here on Scambook in someone else's post. It seems he scammed her the exact same way he is trying to scam me right now. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this yet, I am in an interesting position. Perhaps I will play it off a little longer and see what happens.
