Emerald Lux is scamming people with a very deceptive $4.95 "Free Trial" offer. Emerald Lux offers to give you a "FREE" sample of their product if you pay $4.95 for shipping and handling.

When you go to the Emerald Lux website and click on their trial offer, you begin a signup process, and the ENTIRE "Free Trial" form is designed to disguise the fact that this "Free Trial" is ANYTHING BUT A FREE TRIAL. There is no clear warning that this free trial will cost you $114.95.

Unfortunately for the consumer, Emerald Lux is very crafty at hiding an obligation to pay $114.95 in their "Terms and Conditions." NO WHERE on the signup form is this EVER MENTIONED. That's right...buried in legalese deep down in the greasy underbelly of the Emerald Lux Terms and Conditions waiver, some lawyer has made his mamma proud.

So...SURPRISE!!!...about 16 days after you receive your "Free" trial of Emerald Lux E-Cigs, you get a big fat $114.95 charge on your credit card. ...unless opt out of a $114.95 monthly purchasing plan you didn't even know you signed up for!

When you call Emerald Lux, they are OH SO HAPPY to tell you that you WILL NOT win if you attempt to contest the credit card charge with your credit company. They are too smart for that. These crooks have your acceptance of their "Terms and Conditions" on file, so you will lose.

These folks at Emerald Lux rattle this off so fast, you can tell they have lot's of experience handling very ticked off customers who are threatening to challenge the credit card charge. That's how you know these guys are con artists.

I'm going to contest my charge regardless. I might win, but at the very least, I will make these con artists at Emerald Lux work for it.
