I received my credit card charges for the charge on Sep 17 2011 on Friday, October 21 2011. I attempted to contact the Classmates website, without success. I then tried calling them 4 times on the 21st and kept getting disconnected. I tried again on Monday the 24th another 3 or 4 times and got busy signals and 2 cut-offs. On Tuesday the 25th I called my credit card company and they even tried calling on a three way call to Classmates. The phone connected and as soon as an agent answered the phone call was cut off. The credit card lady gave me a file number 0808958409 and was going to temporarily give me credit for this charge of $39 dollars. I just now tried calling Classmates and and got through. The young lady informed me that 'there were no refunds' on their memberships. I tried raising a fuss and she then put me on hold and came back to tell me that she 'could give me a credit of $34.00, but I would have to pay the balance of $5.00 for the useage from the billing date of Sep 17. If, after telling me there were no refunds she gave me back $34 dollars, then why not the total amount. By the way, when I signed up for this membership in 2010 the fee was $9.95 not $39.00. Can you help me resolve this last $5?
