I have paid two different Law Firms to help me with a modification with Chase. I have had to paid both Law Firms up-front fees, and one Law Firm did not help me, instead told me to stop making mortgage payments to Chase. Now because I stopped making my mortgage payments and the Law Firm did not do what I paid the up-front retainer for, my home is in foreclosure and twice now, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, has denied my modification. I am 64 years old and on Total Disability and do not want to loose my home, and I would like to get my retainer plus interest back from the Law Firm that has caused my home to go into foreclosure.
