I was invited to this site through an email invitation and given a few bids to try out the site. After winning a bid for a restaurant.com $50 gift card for the amount of 2.99, I was taken to a payment screen to pay for the win. After the transaction, the final screen had removed $82.00 from my credit card without my acknowledgement. I then waited over one month for the gift card, and did not receive it. After more than 3 attempts with chat people, calling customer service, and writing, I was lied to about them sending the gift card. I was even disconnected on the telephone.
I contacted the BBB and they tried to resolve this complaint. After 5 BBB contacts over a period of time, the company stated they had refunded my funds, although this was a big lie.
I am now in the process of a taking legal action against this company as well as making the general public aware of this scam site through television news. The date above is not correct due to not being able to put the correct date in.
