We were sent literature via US Mail from RTR mailed to an old address. Enclosed was a contract for the sale of our timeshare in Cozumel Mexico. When I called RTR office to inquire about it, I was told by an employee of RTR that my husband contacted them requesting they place our timeshare on the market. They invoiced $799 for their "services". We NEVER requested them to sell our timeshare and the reported conversation NEVER took place. They flat out lied and made it sound like my husband was selling the timeshare without consulting me (even though I hold the deed). RTR have made numerous false statements about a conversation between their representative "Anna" and my husband which NEVER took place. At NO time did we direct any such transaction nor ever request their services. Luckily we were not stupid enough to fall for their scam. We believe that they are engaging in deceptive practices under FL Statute 501.204 and if this happens to you, you need to report it to FL Atty Genl and file a formal complaint.
