I did not fall for this scam but felt I should warn others. A company rep called weeks ago and after some discussion said they'd email me info so I could look it over. The info never came and today they called again. This time I was on the phone for 54 minutes with two different reps. During the conversation, I was presented with an enticement of rental income of $7200.00 for bonus weeks for my timeshare (4 weeks @ $1800 each). I was told that after giving my credit card info, I would be sent a contract by email to digitally sign and return. I refused to give my CC info and asked why I could not see a contract to look over, if they were really a legitimate company. I could tell by his hesitations and responses that the first rep was lacking experience and he gave the call to another rep after the first 5 minutes. I was directed by the second rep to a website, OnlineBusinessBureau.com, which evaluates marketing firms and 'assisted' in finding their firm on the site for the purpose of assuring me they were legitimate and "Not out to hurt me", as the rep kept saying. I kept refusing to give my CC info and he kept going round & round requesting it in different ways. Meanwhile, I looked up the company on the BBB website and saw they had 17 complaints filed against them. The call ended when the rep finally hung up (after 54 minutes). During the call I was told I would have my first check for $1800 by the time I had to pay their fee because they had a great demand for units such as mine. Not even once was I told my unit would be marketed.

Update: 12/09/2013

These guys must be really desperate. The senior marketing director called me back and tried again tonight to sell me. This time he hung up after only two minutes as I was telling him I looked up his company and read the complaints on the BBB website.
