Complaint 292002 Details

I received a call on 12/07/13 from a man named Mr. Dave Miller calling from PCH (Publishers Clearing House) stating that I had won 1.5 Million dollars and a 2014 Mercedes Benz. He stated that I need to immediately call (876) 393-7657, Ext 5 and ask for John Baker. I did call this # and the same guy answered and said he will transfer me. He hit a button and the supposed John Baker answered, (this guy has a really bad accent and is very hard to understand)it was obvious to me that I was talking to the same man. He told me to get a piece of paper and write down some numbers and even went as far as having me write down the license plate # of the Mercedes. He stated that I needed to go to Walmart immediately to a Western Union and send $250.00 to Kashmer Sorresper in Westmoreland, JA/WI. Then I am to call him back with the receipt number so he can process my prize. I asked him why I had to pay $ if I had won. He stated it was the computer fee that had to be paid before processing. I told him I would give him the $250.00 when he delivered my new Mercedes. Oh no, that is not how it works.... He called me 7 times yesterday and twice so far this morning. The first time he called I asked where he was located? He stated he was calling from Las Vegas, NV. Later that day when he called, I asked the same question. He got very quiet then responded that he was calling from Hawaii.....Wrong answer dude! I contacted PCH customer service page. They stated if someone is calling you claiming that you have won and is requesting money, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING and it is not their company that is contacting you. BEWARE PEOPLE. I am going to pursue this further...I don't want these (Inappropriate Content Removed) preying on innocent people.
