I was solicited to invest in an internet marketing program where i would purchase 3 websites specific to me and have 40,000 targeted visitors which would generate income paid to me as commissions from travelocity.com, an insurance comparison site and their own E3Biz site. Cost $3,950.I was promised coaching on "how" to monitor my sites and also told this would be self generating passive income.
About a year later I was called again because they noticed I wasn't really getting any hits so they offered to renew the initial offer for free and increase my traffic with a new campaign. Of course this would cost more...but guess what! They still had my credit card info from the first charges made. The new campaign- called "chasing the mail"- consisted of me purchasing 1000 postcards for $6,350-which did not include postage so I would have to mail at my own cost. They also charged me $40 shipping to mail me the box of postcards which were pre-addressed. I called to get instructions on when to mail the cards, how many to send at each mailing and any other coaching I should know. I did not get any calls back. I waited another month and got through to a rep who said I would need an appointment to receive my coaching so I made an appointment for the next day expecting a phone call from them. No one called.
When I was approached for the second "deal" I asked for a Refund Agreement if there was still no income generated. They faxed me an agreement for the full amount of both invoices. I am currently pursuing a refund from them and plan to contact Better Business Bureau and other legal means to have my money returned to me.
