International boundaries
After putting up furniture on gumtree.com.au for $2000 Vernon emailed me to say he would pay via paypal and wasn't able to view due to him being "out of the country", but he had a shipping company he works with that would come and collect it the next day.
Fortunately/unfortunately I'm pretty web savvy and I'd had a very similar email from another scammer "frank Kirk" earlier on in the day. And thanks to this site managed to avoid being scammed.
Apparently the scam is they say that they've paid you. Then
