I was conntacted by phone on 11-14-2013 by a representative of great american readers. The phone number on my caller id was1-800-269-4179.I was told I had won a 250 dollar gift card from walmart and all I had to do was agree to a magazine order then wait 10 days and cancel the subscription. But I must give them my credit card info to be eligible. They took the initial 49.90out of my bank that day and sent me apayment schedule for 20 more payments. So I called to cancel as soon as I found out but before 10 days were up. I was rudely told there is no cancellation allowed and that they will get their money. So today I will Cancel my bank account to put a stop to this blatant fraud. I will also notify the bbb and thearizona senior fraud division so they can look into it too. Iam a senior citizen and I am a terminal patient . You would think these scam artists could find some of their own kind to perpetrate a fraud on.
