Tickets purchased for Sting/Paul Simon concert were what I thought was from Toyota Center website. Perhaps I could of been possibly mislead by the name of the website which was called "Official-Online-Tickets.com". This is a ticket scalping operation apparently and shame on me in my rush to get good seats not to scrutinize the website closer. What they do is link to the event website through Google (and maybe other search engines as well) so you think you are buying from the actual arena. The tickets I purchased were floor tickets worth (I found out later) $125.00 each. Ticket Benz (a/k/a "Official Online Tickets") charged $173.00 per ticket. Okay I could have bought these $100.00 cheaper but wait the ripoff doesn't end there. I was charged a service fee of $48.44 PER TICKET. The Toyota Center box office charges a convince fee of $45.00 (for BOTH)! So add another $50.00 I could have saved. But then I logged on to my bank's website to check out my statement and found an ADDITIONAL charge of $28.55. So basically I payed $225.00 over the cost of the actual tickets. What they are doing may be "Legal"--since I apparently "Agreed" to the terms when I checked out but it certainly isn't ethical. After reading other complaints on this website it appears this isn't their first offense! Other similar complaints are out there and in those cases they didn't even get to see the concert they had tickets to since they might have been sold twice or might not have had the tickets to sell in the first place. The concert is in February so I might yet get to see the show I was overcharged for but in then there is a chance I might not.
