On 25 August I sent money to a recipient in the Philippines. On 28th August I learnt that the money had not arrived. On 30th August, I had to send more funds to meet a deadline and those failed to arrive ontime but finally turned up the next day. Western Union customer service have been useless, failing to take an interest in my lost money and failing to return it. I have written to the company's chief executive, Mr Raj Agrawal, who just sent on my complaint back to customer service. The Financial Ombudsman in UK are waiting to get involved but are waiting for Western Union to give their final response, which they appear not to be providing. In short, Western Union have taken my money, caused me additional expenses, caused me endless worry, time and trouble, and have failed dismally in sorting this out and giving me my money back plus expenses.
