I purchased a HP laptop after getting a lemon Asus from them. I shut it down on 10/1 approx. and when I turned it on the screen was all messed up I was having a slight problems with it before that I was speaking to HP better than the Geek Squad. HP had me try a restore and some other thing prior didn't work. Told them I bought there extended warranty and was going to bring to them being I thought everything was covered. When I told the guy the story and said I have the extended warranty that covers drops and spills and anything else he looked in the computer and said oh no you didn't buy the accident there was no other plan offered and they said the accidental was included. Well it's was 2 salesman that told me this the day of the exchange and I have bought at least 4 computers from them and was told the same thing. I brought it down 10/5 and told them that I called HP since I have a disability it's hard for me to get out that night I called Geek squad to see if they could get some pictures I couldn't get and the kid said oh yeah I said even after a restore and he said yes about 12 days later they called and said they couldn't get them that kid was doing it right away so it could go out the next. Now today I get a call that it will cost 300.02 to fix the screen so the motherboard and everything else is worth 179.97 I want it covered under this extended warranty that they scam you on I think they just tell the salesman to say it even though oh guess what it's not covered I would think extended would be the accidental otherwise what's extended they treat women like where stupid. This should be covered or they are truly scammers I've purchased these warranties but never used them but just incase. I don't have this money on a fixed income

Update: 10/22/2011

the cost to fix is wrong they want $384.99 for a $479.99 computer
