Complaint 285279 Details

I received a voicemail message on my cell phone stating that they were PDL Services and her name was Terry Mills and that a Civil Lawsuit was being placed against me and that I would be served court papers either at my home or business address and that they were giving me this "curtious" call first in order to give me a chance to call them back for more information. Gave me a Claim # and The number she gave me to call was (888) 365-7001. When I called back a computer generated voice answered stating they were FOB Enterprises and to press #1 for mobil services, #2 for luxury items or #3 for hair products…etc. I immediately hung up the phone and google searched PDL Services and this is when I became aware that their name and the number they left me is linked to a scam. I than called Consumer Protection and Fraud and filed a complaint with them. I then called the PDL number again and thought I would run through the calling que until I could speak to someone. When I did get to some one she seemed akward that I was asking for PDL Services and I asked why do they answer as FOB Enterprises? I told her I believe they are a fraud and that I want to speak to Terry Mills. After a long "wait" on the phone to be "transferred" to that dept. (that being PDL and Terry Mills) I finally get to "Terry" I tell her that I believe this is a fraud and that I want to know who they are. She asked for my "Claim" number. When I gave it to her…she asked if my name was (who ever she pulled out of her hat) she had my first name right but my last name wrong. I said no thats not my name. She said, "oh well, I apologize what phone number did we call when we left you the message. I will remove you from our data base" So, I gave her the number that they left the voice message on and she said "ok you are now removed"….. All I know is this is a bunch of crap! I don't know what they thought they would get out of me… or how they got my information in the first place! Scary and Weird! Total LIES! Anyone, everyone needs to watch out!!!! I called back the Consumer Protection Fraud Dept. and informed them of my actual conversation with these "people" and they noted it in their complaint system as well…. Beware everyone!
