IM SOOOO ANGRY AT THESE CROOKS!!!!
On 9/14/13 I ordered the "Free Trial" of Garcinia Cambogia Max. I was charged $3.95 for shipping and handling of the Free Trial bottle.
On 9/21/13 I received that trial offer of 10 capsules.
On 9/26/13, I received the first bottle of a 3 month supply!
On 9/30/13 a "recur debit crd pymt" of $105.95 was charged to my checking account, (which i had used to pay the $3.95 shipping for the "Free Sample")
On 10/10/13, I returned the unopened 30 day supply bottle.
I followed the return instructions on the receipt that was included with the one month supply. The same return information is on the website. I have the shipping and tracking numbers for the return.I paid $10.64 for the insured UPS return.
On 10/17/13, I got 2 (two),no-reply emails from bestwebfullfullment.com. The first informing me that they had received the return, and the 2nd stating that my subscription status had been updated and future shipments would be cancelled, as per my request.
I waited for the refund of my $105.95. I repeatedly called 800-650-6914 the number listed in the description information associated with the charge against my bank account. The number was always busy.
Today, 11/4/13, 3 weeks since the confirmation email stating they had received the returned product, and 5 weeks since they got my $$$$,I went to the original website to see if there was a different phone number. There was! It came up when I clicked "returns policy"! The "Contact Us" page says they are "dedicated to bringing you the best customer service", and that "their only objective is to keep you %100 satisfied"! That same page also lists the returns address as: Return Department, 807 Airport Drive, Suite D, Traverse City, MI.49686, where I had sent my return. No mention there of needing to contact customer service to obtain an RMA # prior to return. Also no mention of needing an RMA # on the receipt sent with the product, just instructions to return to that address within 30 days for the full refund!
I called the customer care #, 800-237-6182.
I spoke to a RUDE young-sounding girl who asked why I was calling. I explained the above, she acknowledged that they had indeed received my return, but chastised me for not following the instructions in the CONTRACT, which stated that I MUST call before I return to obtain an RMA #!!! What contract???, I asked, to which she replied, the one you agreed to before the trial offer was sent out!
When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she immediately offered a 'one time courtesy refund' of $24.99! I said NO...you received the return, you have the product...you owe me $106.00! I again asked to speak to the supervisor, and she became extremely surly and said that "since you didn't follow the rules, you aren't entitled to the refund, and that the supervisor was busy with other customers"!!!!! That attitude somehow falls very short of my %100 satisfaction!!!
Such a scam!!! Now that I read the other postings here, I realize I'm not alone.
Hopefully, enough complaints will be lodged that they will be shut down.
Fingers crossed that perhaps we will, at some point, get our money back!
PS...I tried the 10 day free trial capsules that started all of this.....IT DIDN'T DO A DARNED THING FOR ME!!!! AAARRRGGGG!!!!
