I received a letter in the mail from Grazing el Solutions inc. That I am one of the winners in the north america consumer promotion draw. Says it was organized for all customers of wal-mart, sears, home depot, Safeway, stop & shop, K-mart, Best buy, JC Penny, Etc. Said I won 9,990$ USD. You are required to pay non residents tax but they send you a check in the mail with the letter for 990$ to cover the 500$ tax. You are told to call your claim agent before cashing the check to activate it. Catch. You won't receive the rest of the amount until you pay the taxes.
This is a scam, if you put it in your bank you will be charged for a counterfeit check. And your account will be closed and you'll lose money. they have been doing this scam for years. Please don't fall for it. And I hope someone does something to catch these bastards. Something needs to be done about this. And I think that when they catch these people the people getting the fake checks and that are being targeted should get the money anyway.
