I mistakenly filled out an application for grant money. (Inappropriate Content Removed) I have received several calls maybe 8-10 from a number without an area code: 758-0847. When you call the number it states you must dial an area code or call an 800 number. The 800 number brings you to AT&T. I called and reported this to them and that it appears to be from a cell phone number. Just now I received another call and picked up the phone to get more information. An Asian man spoke to me and stated the money was from the US gov't and I was eligible. I asked for location and phone #. He gave me a # 800-558-0065 & stated they were in Utah. I listened to him as I wanted more information. In previous conversations from other callers when I started asking questions they hung up. I then asked him about the cost of $29.95 which had been on the website. He said, "oh, no it was $3". I knew then, I was right about this being a scam. I told him that I would not pay any money and that it was a scam and hung up. Why do people not realize this and give out their information without being more vigilant. I am surprised to see what is written here. Anyway, not to judge but to provide feedback about this company. The 800-558-0065 is nonexistent and out of order. Why can't the federal gov't/FBI get involved to catch these criminals?
