I too was duped by a Facebook advert. The company concerned offered a FREE trail for 2 products. Keytone Advanced and Green Coffee Cleanse. It stated that you only paid the shipping costs for the trial and AT NO POINT did it mention that if you didn't cancel you would be charged.
My credit card was charged £84.95 on 17 September for the Keytone Advanced and £69.95 on 22 September for the Green Coffee Cleanse. I never agreed to this and had no notification from the company that they were about to do this after the 'free' trial.
I have (to date) received 2 bottles of the Keytone Advanced, the last one arrived on Saturday 19th October, which is why I started investigating. I have NEVER received any of the Green Coffee Cleanse. I telephoned the company today +44 (0) 844 858-8072 to complain and was told (after a heated discussion) that they would refund me £80. So, I have received 2 bottles of Keytone Advanced and it has cost me the grand total of £75.00!!!!!
This is a TOTAL SCAM and this company is (I'm sure) acting illegally. I am totally gutted and so very upset that I was taken in by them and I hope that not to many others have been as the company are absolute CROOKS.
I still don't believe I will get the refund of £80 and if I don't - I will be contacting my credit card company and also UK trading standards.
I wonder if it's worth complaining to Facebook as well??
