Yesterday (Sat 19Oct13), I placed an online order for Garcinia Cambogia, charged to my credit card. After reviewing my "receipt", which did not contain company name, contact info, or accurate quantity details of the product ordered, I became suspicious. The next day (Sun 20Oct13), when I tried to obtain additional info re: the exact contents of the product ordered (label info), it was nowhere to be found, nor was the name of the company I was working with. So, I decided to cancel my order before it could ship. I called the phone number my bank showed for the "pending transaction", and it was a foreign Customer Service Company. The rep informed me there was no way to stop the shipment, the company name was not "allowed" to be shared, and there would be a $5.95 per bottle restocking fee to return the product (I had ordered 8 bottles). I also discovered there was a monthly fee attached to this order of $9+ for access to "YourTrimTrainer.com", which was NOT mentioned on the webpage I used to place my order for Garcinia Cambogia. I cancelled this "membership" with the Customer Service rep, but do not know if this cancellation will actually "stick." I will dispute all related charges on my credit card, but cannot do this (per my bank) until the charges actually post (move from pending to actual charges).
MY LESSON LEARNED: Before ordering online, READ "TERMS AND CONDITIONS," call Customer Service, and research the company before ordering (i.e., assess company legitimacy).
