We were sent to this factory being told that it is only open to foreigners 5 days out of a year and that we could buy genuine gemstones for a third of their value. On entering the store, the staff were extremely friendly and we were served by an elderly woman by the name of O. When we questioned about the stones and the settings we were led to believe that they were genuine and that the rings i wanted would be set in solid 18ct gold. We purchased 2 x rings. 1 was the Channel entertwined with another gold band and the 2nd was my own design with a 4.19cts Amethyst stone. We were charged R3500.00 (9800)bhts. the rings were beautifully presented and attached was the certificates. I onced again queried if this really was 18ct gold and it was confirmed by the manager and the owner. 2 weeks after i arrived back home, the colour started to change. Not even sure if its silver underneath or some other metal. Totally disgusted. The only thing genuine about this is that it GENUINE FAKE! I am going to make SURE as many people find this out as possible!
