On March 13, I was contacted via text message from phone number 267-540-3447. A phone number that as of this day has been disconnected. Someone claiming to be Harrison Williams responded to an advertisement on craigslist for a Diamond Compound Bow with two arrows and a case for $350. On March 15, I was informed that he would like to purchase the item. I was asked to take down the listing and he would have his secretary issue the payment via bank certified check. The check was mailed to me via United States Postal Service from a Jane Gawin of Fresh Encounters INC. 317 W Main Cross St. Findlay, Ohio 45840, I received the check on March 20 and deposited the check on March 21 at Bankplus in Flowood, MS. I was told to deduct $400 for myself and send the remaining $1500 to Debbie Lightner of 2521 Carya Pond Charlotte, NC. Multiple transfers using Western Union and Moneygram were sent. On March 26, I was informed that a stop payment had been placed on the check. After further research I determined that Debbie Lightner aka Debra Lightner was a name used in multiple scams on craigslist and that Ms. Lightner was arrested in North Carolina in 2007
