This is a very convincing scam. You are told that you have been selected as a winner of a lottery run by Microsoft Outlook Windows 8 Live promotions. This is the email from the courier service that they send your check to:

(1)WINNERS CHEQUE FOR THE VALUE WON ($800,000.00 USD).

(2)WINNING CERTIFICATE FROM THE OUTLOOK MICROSOFT WINDOWS 8 LIVE INDIA PROMOTION ANNIVERSARY.

(3)CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN OF FUNDS (C.O.F.).

Note: In order to proceed further with the shipment of your parcel, we want you to choose from the three options, and get back to us with the option you have chosen. The cost of delivery fees for any option you choose must be paid to this office before we can render any service to our customers abroad also the organisers did not make any provisions for the shippment Charge, only the check amount ($800,000.00USD) was issued from their Treasury account, this is why recipient need to pay our mailing fees personally.
