Goes by the name of Ryan Brooks, but message was sent from Natinez Mary.
Was contacted via text message from 0428465117 after listing my car for sale on Gumtree.com.au.
They asked for a firm price and what condition it was in, but to send my response to [email protected]
After replying (before I realised it was a scam), they replied again stating they would pay full price, that they worked on oil rigs for NZ Oil, and that they had already organised a courier to deliver the car to them in Darwin on their days off.
They then asked to pay via paypal, and if not paypal, what were my bank details.

- We received a text from 1-863-286-0265 asking us to confirm our price and the availability for our van listed on Autotrader.com. Wanted us to send an e-mail to [email protected] and his name "is" Robert Samuel. Thankfully we found this post before giving him our address. Also gave us the same story about where he "worked" and etc......Thank you for writing up the complaint Evelyn :-)
